Ingredients (Serves 3-4)

  • 1 portion of Shop The Carbon Bar’s Pulled Chicken  (454g)

  • 1 tbsp Shop The Carbon Bar’s Seasoned Salt 

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)

  • 1 zucchini, sliced

  • 1 tomato, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free option)

  • 1 tsp honey (optional, for a touch of sweetness)

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice lovers)

  • ¼ cup chicken demi-glace (for a rich, deep flavor)

  • Fresh herbs (cilantro or green onions) for garnish

Instructions

Step 1 - Prepare Your Ingredients: Have all your vegetables chopped and ready to go. This will make cooking a breeze.

Step 2 - Heat the chicken: Place the sealed bag of pulled chicken in a stock pot and fill it with water until it’s about ¾ full. Bring the water to a gentle simmer and let it heat for 10 minutes.

Step 3 - Heat the Pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onions and bell peppers, stirring for about 2 minutes until they begin to soften.

Step 4 - Add the Zucchini & Garlic: Toss in the zucchini and minced garlic and sprinkle in the Seasoned Salt . Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.

Step 5 - Add the Tomatoes & Sauce: Stir in the diced tomatoes, soy sauce, and honey (if using). Pour in the chicken demi-glace and let everything simmer for 3-4 minutes until well combined and heated through.

Step 6 - Mix in the Chicken:  Using tongs, carefully remove the bag from the pot and set it aside to cool slightly. Once safe to handle, cut open the bag and transfer the Pulled Chicken to the pan and stir well to combine.

Step 7 - Final Touch: Sprinkle red pepper flakes for a spicy kick and garnish with fresh herbs.
